What Causes Brown Saliva In The Morning And Heart Palpitations?

My saliva in the morning is brown at times i m having a difficult time to breathe after waking up. There are also times that slight movements can lad to palpitations. I have already seen 2 doctors for the past 6 months and even got x rayed in a span of 3 months yet they say my lungs have no problem. even ecg says that my heart is ok. could it be asthma? i have a history of asthma when i was a child.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The ECG would normally show any issues related to the rate and rhythm of the heart and can also provide an idea of structural changes to the heart.

IF you did not have palpitations at the time of the ECG, it would have been normal. You may want to consider a holter ( 24 hour ECG). This would be able to check your heart throughout the day.

In terms of asthma, pulmonary function testing would be able to determine if this a possible cause of your symptoms.

Your GP should be able to refer you to a pulmonologist who would be able to do this for you.

I hope this helps
