What Causes Brown Discharge With Clots During Menstruation?

Hi I m experiencing brown discharge with tiny balls coming out. I had 2 periods last month and have suffered from yeast infection every 3 months. My last yeast infection occurred 2 weeks before my second period last month. My period ended and 2 weeks later the brown discharge occured. Could this be hormonal or is it an STD?
