What Causes Body Acne After Having Partial Hysterectomy?

I am 37 yrs old had a partial hysterectomy due to endometriosis when I was 29 yrs old, believe I am having symptoms of PCOS - suddenly developing body acne more blackheads than whiteheads, more frequent bouts of depression, more facial hair and cramping. I have been to a dermatologist 3 times, and my dr. nobody had mentioned PCOS as the issue. I am not sure what to do but the body acne is starting to scar and is causing emotional stress and embarrasment. August will be a year I have been trying to get rid of it and have been treated everything under the sun including scabies which obviously nothing has cured it or even helped it :( Any suggestions

Hi,

Body acne after a partial hysterectomy can be caused by various factors such as hormonal imbalances, medications, stress, and changes in the skin's oil production. PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) can also cause body acne, as well as other symptoms you mentioned, such as depression, facial hair growth, and cramping.

I would recommend you visit a doctor who specialized in hormonal imbalances and women's health to discuss these symptoms and get a proper diagnosis. Your doctor may also recommend hormonal therapy, topical medications, or lifestyle changes to help manage the body's acne and other symptoms.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
