What Causes Body Ache Along With Pain In The Joints?

I feel tired and have a body ache. Feel sleepy even after a good night sleep. By the afternoon my head kind of heavy. Notice joint pains too on my thumb and elbow. Few days ago had a very uncomfortable abdominal ache and my bowel system did not feel normal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It can be generalized viral infection so that headache and joint pain might be present.

However, it's advisable to investigate with CBC, CRP, ESR estimation, ANA estimation for further work up.

You can be prescribed paracetamol like anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication for your pain and inflammation. You can revert back with reports once done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
