What Causes Body Ache After Taking Hepatitis-B Vaccination?

2 Weeks ago I received my last of the 3 Hep B shots. That afternoon I was sore all over my body and my right arm was very sour.. For the next 2 weeks I was spitting up mucus and doing a lot of coughing, Went to my doctor and he prescribed antibiotics\, which I am half way through the prescription. Today I am felling drained of energy, The top of my shoulders are very sour and after I walk for a short distance I am out of breath. I did NOT fell this way before I got the shot.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Fever, body ache, generalized weaknesses, pain at injection site are common side effects of any vaccination. For body ache you can take tablet Diclofenac or apply Diclofenac gel or ointment locally. Take rest. Keep yourself hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale,
