What Causes Blood In Stool?

I ve been having a show of blood with my stool but not in the stool. It is bright red and the past few days it has been more even without having a BM. I was quite constipated when it started and I have had it periodically the past year especially when I eat pnuts..

As you mentioned you have problem of blood in stool that may be because of hemorroid problem or other reasons.

Excessive straining at toilet time lead to bleeding from hemorroid .....
Other reasons like peptic ulcer or diverticular disease or ulcerative colitis or intestinal poly cause blood in stool.

Detail history and investigation give exact idea about problems
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
