What Causes Blood And Foam Through Mouth Before Death?
I have a 32 yr. old friend that passed away yesterday. She was taking saboxone and had drank a couple of beers. When she died she was found hanging over the side of her bath tub. She had blood and foam coming from her mouth. What could she have died from? She also had copd and a history of drug problems. Just minutes before she was absolutely fine with no signs of feeling ill and did not appear to be under the influence although I am told that she took double her dose of soboxone.

There many reasons of blood froth from moth after death. Most commonly is aspiration of gastric contents in mouth, gastritis or gastric errosions, mouth trauma during revival of patient like with Ryles tube and taking of anticoagulant type of drugs. I think this seems to be normal in such situations
