What Causes Bleeding And Burning Sensation During Urination Along With Dark Urine?

Bright red blood on toilet paper after urination. Urine was dark. Two weeks since period. No pain or burning during urination. Very, very mild lower pelvic cramping/ pain. Hx of sediment in urine, possibly passed stone, never found. 39 yrs old, generally healthy.

Hello,

You are suffering from bleeding, burning sensation during urination. There is no pain or burning sensation during urination. You are suggested to get a urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done to detect any urine infection, (UTI). Do not stay dehydrated, take fluids, water, ORS to keep yourself ell hydrated. Stay away from addictions if any.

Get clinically examined by a urologist, you may have to get a few blood tests and investigations done to detect medical conditions like UTI, kidney stones, STD, foreign body in the urethra, bladder, kidney cancer, etc. You will be accordingly treated with antibiotics, analgesics and recommended surgery if needed. Stay away from addictions if any.
