Hi..I had sex the first time last week. There was bleeding and when I looked the part just below my vaginal opening was where blood was coming from. I suppose there was a tear in that area. The next day I tried having sex again but it caused little bleeding again because that same area had stretched causing the tear to reopen. So I dropped it. Now it has been a week and stretching that area isn t painful anymore. But when I touch it there is a little pain. Will it hurt still if I try sex? Pls help.
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood your concern. There is a membrane called 'hymen' at the opening of the vagina. In a virgin this is intact with a small opening to allow menstrual flow. When there is sexual intercourse, this tears and often is accompanied by some pain and spotting or bleeding. This heals naturally and does not cause any further inconvenience. This is the most likely reason for your difficulty, so you can go ahead with your sexual life. If you still find a problem, please see a specialist for further evaluation. Hope this helps.
