What Causes Black Colour In Tongue After Taking Pepto For Gastritis?

Last night I had Indian food for dinner. I got severe stomach gas during the night and had to sit up all night. This morning I took two pepto tablets. I just tried a sip of ginger ale and got severe pain for a few seconds. My tongue is currently black in colour.

I really appreciate your concern, such symptoms could be due to hyperacidity and this could be due to spicy food, if the symptoms subside the this is okay if this does not then this can be managed with antacid liquid, you can even try cold milk, hope this information helps, take care.
