However, just after 45 days of my last period, i had spotting. I did the pregnancy test (urine and also HCG) which resulted negative. Now after one week, i am having back ache and feeling heavy lower abdomen. What can be the cause of this sudden pain?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Sudden pain is due to ovarian pedicle congestion, twitching or else due to absence of ovulation from the PCOS condition. Antispasmodic as dicyclomine and drotaverine are best molecules to control sudden back pain and heaviness in abdomen.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
