My 13 yr old son fell ill last Sat. and has been on the couch since then. He has no appetite but did eat 3 bites of lasagna tonight but then returned to feeling ill enough to be on the couch. He is drinking purified water and ginger ale. He has been taking 1/2 of a pack of musinex effervescent. You can take up to 6 in a 24 hour period. He has enough relief to sleep after taking it but has vomiting after taking it and nausea so not much stays down. It is Fri. today. He has had a fever with this and other children in his school have become ill but I don t know their symptoms. Any guidance. He looks terrible but has times during the day when he says he feels better and then goes down hill later.
