Hope you can help me. I have been diagnosed with abnormal electrical surges on right and left lobes of my brain, as well as in the lower back skull. I have a had a CT scan, am taking meds, but I can t seem to stop worrying about future prognosis. I am also being treated ftor clinical depression and anxiety. Sounds as if I a am a lost case, but I only need your direction. Thanks in advance. Denise ( YYYY@YYYY ). I am on disability allowance; before we go any further, could you let me know know if and how much I would have to pay fore your assistance.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

These abnormal surges of electrical activity can be underlying epilepsy and will hopefully stay under control with anti epileptics after a neurologist review and EEG correlation. Though the right and left side of brain has temporal lobes of brain which can present with some psychiatric symptoms and both can be correlated however psychiatrist review for atypical antipsychotics like quitiapine etc should be considered along.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
