I had a complete hysterectomy 15 years ago. For the last 4 months I have been having severe abdominal swelling especially after I eat and a numbing tingling sensation near the top of my right leg where my ovary used to be. the last two days severe pain when standing or walking.
Hello there, thanks for posting your query. Abdominal swelling could be due to five causes. Excessive bloating of intestine due to flatus, pregnancy (irrelevant for you), tumours, obstruction of intestine ( doesn't apply to you as you have not mentioned constipation as one of your concern, or fluid collection in the abdomen due to liver, kidney malfunction or infection ( Koch's). As your symptoms are too non descriptive, and your pain seems to be intensifying it is necessary for you to visit your doctor for a clinical examination and appropriate blood tests and an ultrasound examination to evaluate your symptoms. Do go to emergency room before your pain becomes too severe. Hope this helps. Take care.
