hi, my boyfriend has had this off and on, and now it seems more on. abdominal pain, vomiting. severe pain, hes in bed with a heating pad. goes in the shower under hot water for relief. we thought gall stones before so he took probiotics for awhile and stone relief medication. i finally persuaded him to go to doctor, they found nothing out of the ordinary except enlarged or inflammed organs. i dont know what that means. his alcohol intake is quite high. two days ago he suffered from a major migraine which included vomiting. all i can do is rub his back to alleviate some discomfort. does gall stones act this way? and this passes in a couple days, but keeps happening. what do you think? family history of gall bladder issues. aunt on mothers side has hers removed. grandma on mothers side had gall bladder cancer and passed many years ago. his symptoms are vomiting, no fever, no diarrhea, cant keep water down, severe pain in top of stomache area.
