What Causes Abdominal Cramps And Headache?
Hello doctor... I had had intercourse on 6th may and did take protective measures but unfortunately the measure I had taken was damaged.. since 8th of may she has been having cramps in her stomache and headache with a feeling of vomitting.. on the 9th of may she had vomitted twice and has fever.. she even did pregnancy tests the same day with first one resulting +ve, second resulting -ve and the third resulting +ve.. These symptoms do match with the symptoms of pregnancy.. So I just wanted to know whether there is any problem in taking unwanted 72 as there is no surety of she being pregnant.. Please help me out with this doctor.. I am extremely tensed for her... Please do reply as soon as possible.. thank u very much..

First of all let me make it clear that pregnancy testing after 2 days of sex do not have any reliability about results. As the test depends on hormone hCG, which can be detected by home pregnancy test not earlier than 8 days of delayed periods. So test positive after 2 days of sex is either contaminated urine sample or the container.
Similarly pregnancy symptoms appear after 2-3 weeks of conception. So, headache, vomiting fever are more likely to be due to some infection (bacterial/viral) or psychological stress & fear of being pregnant. Unwanted 72 has to be taken within 72 hours of sex (to prevent pregnancy) earlier the pills are taken better are the effects.
There is no point in taking the pills after 72 hours of sex. Get her treated for fever if it is continuing. Wait patiently & in case she gets her period delayed,get her pregnancy test done & medical termination of pregnancy if you really don't want an issue.
