What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Soreness In Back And Waist?

I wake up in the mornings with a fairly flat stomach and as the day wears on my stomach just below my belly button starts to swell up and by the end of the day it is swollen up to about 10cm above my be belly button. Sometimes it is becomes very sore and my my back at my waiste aches.

I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a chest X ray study
- an abdominal ultrasound
- some blood lab tests (complete blood count, kidney and liver function tests, fasting glucose, blood electrolytes).
