Hello,
I can understand your concern. The problem of
rash on the face does not seem to be related to any other condition you have mentioned here.
If the rash is painless, it can be due to
allergic reaction to some allergen that you are not aware about. Int hat case, I would advise you to take antihistamine such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or
Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5 days.
If the rash and swelling are painful, it can be due to bacterial infection in the cheek area or
tooth infection on the left side of the jaw. In that case, you can take antibiotic such as Cefadroxyl 500 mg (Droxyl) twice a day for 5 days. You can also visit a
dentist for examination of the oral cavity.
However, if the rash persists after 5-7 days and swelling does not reduce or subside at all, you should visit a physician for examination of the rash and further investigations.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
