General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a foruncle which is an infection of the hair follicle. I recommend using hydrogen peroxide to clean the area. I also suggest to cover it with Neosporin cream for local application. In case of pain you may take Tylenol.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
