What Causes A Lump On The Neck Along With Acid Reflux?
Hi i have a 2cm lump on my left side of my neck near my goiter and i have reflux at least once a week but the past few weeks its consistently there zoton & nexum are not helping I m a smoker female and 48 years old. I have to have a mri done in a few weeks and a biopsy, when i get back from holidays. I also think there s another lump I ve found in my neck at the top of my throat. I m getting hot flushes all the time and feel quite sick im on hrt tablets for pre menopause but i don t think thats what is causing my hot feeling as the tablets don t seem to be helping.
Acid reflux commonly occurs due to GERD or a stomach abnormality called hiatal hernia, smoking triggers it. Acid reflux occurs due to the weak lower oesophagal sphincter, causing acid reflux backwards.
A dry sore throat, hiccups, bloating, burping, smoking, difficulty in swallowing, a lump of throat trigger acid reflux.
Avoid citrus food, oily fatty fat, caffeine or addictions if any. Do regular exercises & avoid overeating, maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Take antacids & PPI's for relieve after consultation with your treating doctor.
