What Causes A Dry Throat Frequently?

I am a 48 year old male, 5 , 8 tall, weighing 66 kgs. I am on medication for Type 2 Bi-Polar Mood disorder and diabetes. I have just started using a CPAP machine for sleep apnea. Medications: Lithium Carbonate: 300 mg Twice a day Setraline (Serenata) 50 mg Twice a day Med for chlosterol 1 Tab a day Metformin - 500 mg 2 Tab Twice daily My question: Using CPAP, I get up every 2 hours with a very dry throat and end up in the morning feeling very tired and sleepy. Is this because of the medication I take. The humidity setting on the machine is 4.5 (max 6) any higher setting, I get water in my nostrils
