What Causes A Blood Blister On The Penis After Intercourse?

Hello Doctor. I am extremely worried. My wife and I were engaged in sexual relations. She pulled my foreskin up and my penis glans is red, inflamed and looks like a blister with blood in it. If I pricked it blood would come out like a blister. What should do? I don t have money to consult a doctor!

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Of your story, you are most likely to have either urinary tract infections (UTI) or STD. Unfortunately, you did not mention whether you have other symptoms such as pain when urinating, fever and whether your partner has symptoms as well as whitish, reddish genitals, and pain when urinating.

First, you should also clean the glans penis at least 2 times a day. You should do a blood test to ascertain whether STD or UTI. If you have a UTI or STD you should take antibiotics for 10 to 12 days, but the choice of antibiotics is very different between STD and URI. If necessary, you also need an anti-inflammation. Your partner also better to check because it can cross-infection and better during your treatment do not have a intercourse first.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lili Sitanggang
