Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that a heart murmur could be related a structural heart abnormality.

For this reason, I would recommend performing a cardiac ultrasound and a resting ECG in order to examine her heart function and structure.

Considering her blackout attacks, I would recommend performing some tests too:
- complete blood count for anemia,
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction
- blood electrolytes for possible imbalance.

An ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring would help examine her heart rhythm trends for a prolonged time and exclude possible cardiac arrhythmia.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
