What Can Be The Reason For Whitish Fluid From A Swollen Penis ?
my son is 8 yrs old and uncircumcised. He has developed swelling, redness & stinging in his penis. There is also whitish fluid resembling pus coming out of the end. Is this smegma , or might he have an infection? This started 24 hrs ago. He seems otherwise perfectly healthy with no signs of fever . Should I take him to a Dr.?
Hi L A Stone,
This very common problem with uncircumcised penis.
Due to lack of cleaning there is collection of smegma underneath the glans penis leading to infection and urinary problem.
So make a practice that while taking bath by averting fore skin you clean the part with plain water.
There is also a chance to develop phymosis after long time.
