What Can Be Done To Get Rid Off Pulmonary Scar Caused By Pulmonary Tuberculosis 6 Months Back?
HI doctor. I had pulmonary tuberculosis and completed 6 months of medication.
Why is it that my x-ray result remains unchanged. I have fears that somehow i wont be fit to a particular work because of my history. My public doctor under D.O.T.S told me that what is seen in my X-ray is just a scar. Hope you can answer my query very soon.Thanks and god bless you

iam apulmonologist and i will answer ur query
as you have said that u completed your course of att there is no need to worry about that scar which is nothing but fibrosis of lung parenchyma which neither grows nor decreases
so if your sputum is negative for afb(tb bacilli) no need to bother of that scar
