What Can Be Done About Dry And Flaky Skin On Knee?

I fell and scraped area below my knee 2 weeks ago. lt scabbed over and the scab fell off. However, it remained red with some white, flaky dry skin over it. Yesterday, I knelt down on our living room rug to play with our dog and got a blister over the healing scraped area! It s tender and itchy - what should I do?

Hi,

I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like Neosporin ointment on the affected area twice daily for 10 days and take antihistamine like Cetirizine 10 mg once daily for 10 days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
