What Can I Do To Get Rid Of A Yeast Infection?

I have what I believe is a yeast infection. I have been treated twice with Fluconazole and terconazole, but when I complete the meds, the symptoms return. I am now taking AZO on my own and treating the itching with Domeboro. Is the AZO a danger, does it usually work, and what else can I do to get rid of the infection?

Hello,

You may be having relapsing fungal infection. Called dermatophytosis or ringworm infection. Relapse is may be due to poor immunity, poor hygiene, internal diseases like diabetes, anemia, vitamin deficiencies and resistance to medicines. Combination therapy for few months would be needed like Itroconazole twice a day with Fluconazole twice a week. Apply Terfinafine with salicylic acid oint on the affected parts at night till the clearance of infection and Clotrimazole powder during day time. Take all steps to improve immunity and hygiene.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
