Hi,
Headache is one of the more common symptoms when a person suffers from typhus. It will get better once you start recovering from the acute phase of the disease.
There is nothing specific to recommend for headache except to say that you should avoid taking too much
Over the Counter medication as this can lead to what is called
medication overuse headache.
I would do the following, very good hydrations (several liters of water daily), try cold compresses with ice packs or frozen vegetable packages from the freezer from the front or crown of the head for 20 min. Several times a day, the medication should be something your stomach tolerates since you also may be having nausea, vomiting, and generalized
gastritis symptoms. Therefore, I would start with Tylenol ES.
Your headache should be much better or even resolved in the time period. If you end up having symptoms of migraine
headaches which are more severe there is medication for that, however, your doctor will have to analyze the situation as it develops.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
