Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be the uvulitis, inflammation of the uvula, a projection of the posterior end of the soft palate.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylephrine, dextrometharphane, and chlorpheneramine.
Gargle with luke warm salt water solution.
Avoid taking fruits, juices, ice cream, ice water, and cool drinks.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
