What Are The Symptoms Of Whiplash?

My 4 month old baby was in my arms and started to fall backwards and I caught him, but he started crying and lot. Then he seemed OK and was laughing and smiling, but then seemed irritable He is also suffering from jetlag so not sure if it is related. I am worried he could have whiplash.

Good afternoon..!!

Your 4 month old baby is absolutely normal.

Babies will be fussy without any reason sometimes.

Whiplash injury is an injury to spinal cord seen in road traffic accidents and not in babies who are normal.

But if persisting, it's better to visit your pediatrician for further evaluation and management.

Thank you, have a nice day..!!!
