General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Per rectal bleeding twice a month for the last 6 months and pain on sitting is not indicative of piles; this is indicative of fissure-in-ano. I would advise you the following in such a situation:
• Sitz bath in a tub with warm water
• Laxatives to keep the stools soft
• High fiber diet and avoidance of all the food articles and beverages that cause constipation or increase your symptoms
• Clinical evaluation, per-rectal digital examination, ano-proctoscopy, and colonoscopy by a general surgeon for proper diagnosis and management

This way you will get a proper diagnosis and management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
