What Are The Survival Chances After Treated Lung Cancer?
Sir my father is suffering from lung cancer.it was detected in the month of June in Nightingale hospital in kolkata, however there was no biopsy done and its was also crossed check from Roy and tribedi where the report remains the same.As the nursing treatment charge is high for that reason we have to discharge my father from there and under the same doctor supervision he was admitted again in PG hospital for the 1st chemo. After the 1st chemo was done he came back home and the next date of taking 2nd chemo was after 3 weeks. However in the middle he had a severe problem in respiration and again i have to take him to another doctor under whom the water accumulated in the lung was taken out as its was 1st done in Nightingale, and he said that chemo doesn't work in lung cancer treatement and he started a therapy which called "Psorium Therapy" which is basically a homeopathy medicine and my father is still taking that medicine. However in the month of September again there was a respiration problem and once again he is admitted in a hospital where the water accumulated in the lung was again take out and the doctors over there planning to put in some medicine which can stop partially accumulation of water in the lung. So all this while i have done the above treatement of my father, sir please let me know what i should do next in order to save my father.
Be careful,Psorinum is not really effective in treating cancer. It is not a real medication approved by FDA. The best thing for you to do for your father is to follow the specialist (oncologist) advises. The procedure for putting some medications in the pleural spaces is called pleurodesis and it is indicated in his situation. So please consult the oncologist.
Best regards.
