I can understand your concern. Let me explain you what is concussion! It is a type of closed head injury in which blunt head injury without any visible brain damage ( as detected by CT head) leads to momentary loss of consciousness or memory deficit. Patient recovers in some time.

Now coming to your son's eyes findings. The non responsive eyes might be due to loss of consciousness during which he was examined. There is no need to worry if at present he is conscious and alert. But post concussion, sports activities are not allowed till patient completely recovers from headache and memory deficit. It can only be confirmed after clinical examination by an expert doctor.
