What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Ovarian Cyst?

Hi, I m at 18 year old mom and I used to have huge ovarian cyst before I got pregnant and now my son is two and after I had him I started having really thick yellow and white discharge and now it stinks real bad and I ve been hurting in my pelvic area really bad...The pain hits me really fast and sharp and sometimes brings me to my knees it hurts so unbearably. When I have to pee if I hold it for more than about 2 minutes I start feeling really sick. And my stomach hurts real bad if it has pressure on it. What kind of signs of a condition could these symptoms indicate?

Hello,

You are having yellow discharge along with pelvic pain. So it is suggestive towards acute pelvic inflammatory disease.

I suggest you consult gynaecologist for a pelvic examination. You may be given antibiotic for 7 days. If needed your doctor will perform USG pelvis for further work up.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
