my doctor has advice to take sevista 30 mg twice in week against my complaint of short cycle and bleeding with clots and painful during menses. But right now after taking 3 weeks treatment i am feeling a very heavy pain at lower abdomen / pelvic region . i am worried that this is due to this medication. can i stop it immediately or should be continue with the help of pain killer ?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Selevista 30 is a specific drug for controlling short cycles with painful periods with clots. It is not known to case pain in lower abdomen as you describe.) You already had painful menses,
- In my view you should continue with the drug with pain relivers & see the result in net period, -which will allow your doctor to decide about proper dosage for next course,
By the time,, cosult your doctor for scrutinizing other probable cause of the pain ( PCOD- when the drug is contraindicated, urinary bladder problem, pelvic inflammation, some bowel conditions)
Thanks
