Hi,

Lipocut-120 is commonly prescribed along with a low-calorie diet to increase weight loss in people with obesity. Since it prevents the digestion and absorption of dietary fat, its common side effects include increase loss of fat through feces, flatulence, abdominal distension, oily leakage and soiling of the undergarments, and deficiency of fat soluble vitamins.

It is recommended dose is 120 mg three times a day with each meal and to be taken during or up to 1 hour after meals. If a meal is skipped or contains no fat, the dose may be skipped.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
