General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Levipil is commonly prescribed to treat seizure disorders (epilepsy). Its common side effects include drowsiness, nervousness, abnormal behavior, agitation, anxiety, depression, fatigue, hostility, and hyperkinetic muscle activity.

It may also cause for drowsiness, weight gain, and delayed milestones in breastfed infants. Delayed period could be due an early pregnancy, stress, hormonal disturbances or diseases involving thyroid or ovary.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
