What Are The Side Effects Of Kenalog?

I got a shot of kenalog about a week ago for calcific tendonitis that did not improve with PT alone. I ve had one before and the same side effects occurred. I feel like I am having hot flashes every night. It doesn t last long but is still happening. Also I am having palpitations and skipped beats. They aren t terrible side effects but I m hoping they subside soon. Can you tell me how long the steroid actually stays in your system? Thank you for your time.

Kenalog is a steroid that may be used to treat inflammation caused by a number of conditions.The feelings you describe may be side effects of this drug.However, it may last just for a short time.
When given intramuscular, kenalog may stay in the body for about 1 month though longer if in joints.
Just stay calm, eat healthy, rest well and you will get over your symptoms
