What Are The Side Effects Of Duolin Nebulization During Pregnancy?

Hi Doc, My son who is 2.5 yrs old has been put on Duolin nebulization every 4 hour, for 2-3 days. I m in my 8th month of pregnancy and has been inhaling the same drug for past 2 days, along with him when i put him on nebuliser. I would like to know the side effects to the fetus from this drug?

hi,duolin is salbutamol and ipratropium bromide which are bronchodilators,it is absolutely safe in pregnancy and no teratogenic effects have been reported so far and secondly the amount of drug which enters the body through nebulisation is very small.all the best take care.
