I am 79years old, my name is Ann Els, I weigh 55kgs and have osteoarthritis.I have had three replacements...right hip, knee and left knee.I was recommended to take Ciplaton as a multi vitamin but would like to know whether there may be adverse side effects from Panax Ginseng, Lecithin and /or rutin which are three of the ingredients. I am on Plendil for blood pressure which is checked regularly and is generally stable at 130/40. Thank you.

Hi,

Ciplaton contains natural ingredients like Panax Ginseng, Lecithin, Rutin, minerals and vitamins that is used as a multivitamin to restore energy reserves and help to keep going, relieve short term tiredness and exhaustion and to improve general health and well being. Side effects of Panax Ginseng are trouble sleeping, headache, dizziness, agitation, GIT upset, diarrhea, sweating, mood changes, breast pain, high or low blood pressure, loss of appetite, vaginal bleeding, increased heart rate, allergic reactions etc.

Side effects of Lecithin are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, abdominal bloating and fullness, loss of appetite, GIT upset, increased salivation, symptoms of allergic reactions like itching, rashes, swelling of lips, tongue, throat, eyes, hands or feet, breathing difficulties, wheezing, dizziness, irregular heart rate etc. Side effects of Rutin are nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, blurred vision, headache, nervousness, sweating, flushed skin, muscle cramps and stiffness, swelling of knees due to fluid accumulation, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should consult your doctor immediately for medical attention.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
