What Are The Side Effects Of Sulindac?
I was checking any side effects of Sulindac .Since it modifies my hormones to produce it s good pain relieving effect,I was tryoing to see if only use when needed is as effective as taking this drug when I am not in pain.I am prescribed one 150mg. pill twice a day.Only take as needed.Is this a good way of taking this drug(occasionally or if needed)

Any medicine should be taken as directed by your healthcare providers . Sulindac is used regularly and also on as needed basis as well . Sulindac is taken regularly for conditions like arthritis , and it is seen that it takes one week in arthritis to show its effect completely . If used not regularly then it's important to take the medicine as the first sign of pain is felt , if medicine is taken when pain has got worsened so there are chances that full effect in terms of analgesic will not be achieved .
This medicine can cause gastric discomfort so it's advised to be taken with meals or after meals .
I would again emphasize to take your prescribed medicines as directed by your healthcare providers for best results .
