General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the nexium is a proton pump inhibitor suppressing the H K Atpase channel at stomach epithelial level. The ill effects of long term Nexium consist of:
- Achlorhydria
- Pernicious anemia
- Vitamin B12 deficiency
- Drug dependency
- Increase propensity for fractures through osteoporosis development

The Crestor contains Rosuvastatin calcium, which has following side effects as:
- Muscle ache
- Headache
- GI upset
- Depression
- Joint pain
- Insomnia
- Nightmares

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
