Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just began a regimen of Gralise with a sample packet,. I am having great results but was told by my pharmacy that it is very expensive and most Dr. s will prescribe Gabopentin because it is affordable. If I a m doing well on Gralise, will it be hard to transfer and go onto Gabopentin? I was taking Neurontin but it did not seem to be helping and then I started to get uncomfortable side effects that I would work through if it appeared to be having any positive results at helping me with my issues. It could be working and I have not realized it yet because it takes so long to build up to the proper dosage. I find saving $300 per mo worth taking the mid day pills with gabopentin & Medicare would help. Your opinion?
