I have been on infliximab for 10 years & have developed a number of problems over the last 3-4 years that I feel could be due to this drug but when mentioned to my GP & also to my medical consultant have been dismissed. The first problem I developed was joint pain, not isolated to one joint but to many, in my hands, feet, jaw, knees & not just on one side but both. After my regular infusion of Infliximab the joint pain is more severe & I have difficulty even opening & closing my hands.I am also experiencing problems in what would appear to be my left lung which causes pain when yawning & sneezing, I do not have a cough & was given a chest xray about 8 months ago which was clear however the pain is still there!
