What Are The Side Effects Of Depo Provera Injection?
I went to my orthopedist today and he gave me a depot injection in my left shoulder and neck for a bone spur. I am having some burning pain in my left arm on the front of my arm between my shoulder and elbow. Should I be concerned about this burning discomfort? What can I take to alleviate this pain?
The burning pain would be due to the injection received in that arm. It should decrease in 24 to 48 hours.
Your can use any oral pain killer to help reduce the pain (provided you have no previous history of allergic reaction). Examples of pain killers would be paracetamol, ibuprofen, cataflam, naproxen, aspirin.
These are over the counter meds, you can choose the one that best suits you.
I hope this helps
