I am taking three Balsalazide capsules a day, one at each meal. I have a lot of diarrhea and recently had a bad urinary infection. I am also very tired. All three of these things are side effects of the medication. I had been on Asacol for 17 years and had very little problems, but it was taken from the market. I am 88 years old and in excellent shape for my age except for the ulcerative colitis. Also, does fish oil have any reaction while on my medication. I take one 1000 mg capsule every other day.
