What Are The Side Effects Of Azathioprine?

I have SLE. I am 59 years old. Diagnosed at age 13. I ve been taking Plaquenil for 30 years now. But my eye doctor wants me the change medications as my Lupus doctor said the nylon other drug that I can take is azathioprine. I ve just read the about the side effects and I m more than a little concerned.
