Can Azathioprine Cause Any Side Effects?

I have had a uti since Oct. 28th and have gone to the dr. twice. I am on Azathioprine, but started that a few days after being diagnosed with the uti. I was given another antibiotic a week ago and most syptoms went away except for the lower back pain and now I am experiencing flank pain on the left side. Can this be related to Azathioprine?
