What Are The Side Effects For Ranitidine?

I am currently taking ranitidine tab for herd was taking lansprole but was concerned about the reports of cancer associated with taking it so my Dr put me on ranitidine instead less than 2 weeks ago and I ve developed diarrhea rather severe case and is tgat a side effect from it?

Hi,

Yes, diarrhea is one of the side effects of ranitidine.

Common side effects of Ranitidine are:
Constipation,
Diarrhea,
nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain.
Headache,
Insomnia,
Decreased sex drive or difficulty having an orgasm,
Swollen or tender breasts, etc.

But cancer has never been reported with this drug.
