Hi,

Cerebral atrophy may be age-related or Alzheimer's disease or multiple infracts or stroke or multiple sclerosis.

Multiple sclerosis associated atrophy can be treated and they may recover early and attain a normal life expectancy of others.

Alzheimer's disease patients may not recover completely, their life expectancy is less than 10 years even with treatment.

Therefore, give him supportive care along with that regular exercise and green leafy vegetable consumption are recommended.

Please consult your neuro physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
